Lalitha Parathas

Location: Commercial Street
Cuisine: North Indian
Speciality: Makke di roti and Sarson da Saag, and ofc Parathas :)
Cost: >50 for 2

This is a small Parathas place in the start of Commercial street. They serve excellent parathas. Not to mention, makke di roti and Sarson da saag.

My recommendation: Grab a paratha here while shopping at Commercial street ;)

Lalithas is a great place for parathas.

Another good place is near the ulsoor Gurdwara.

I miss good paratha places near my home (sob sob)

Lunch for under 50 for 2??? No!! I always end up spending over 200 for a meal at Lalitha's. The food is good though.

I have heard a lot about Bobby da Dhaaba. How good is that place?

If you ever regret visiting the Commercial Street with girls, this place makes up for it.

However, as Sangita pointed out, 50 for two is an exaggeration, unless, of course, you only have one parantha each. And yes, Bobby da Dhaaba serves much better paranthe than Lalitha's.

Hi there Nova!

I am coming to Bangalore very soon and your blog is really helping me to work out my eating itinerary. I was wondering if you might be able to help me out...If you think you would be interested in corresponding with me to help me work out where to eat, it would be great if you could email me at tarkatheotter@hotmail.com.

My blog at http://www.binkysilhouette.blogspot.com hasn't been updated for ages, but I am looking forward to writing about Bangalore. I had some great food last time I was over. Pani pooris and Kartiks especially stick in my mind.
